Zeus QueensPlaza outpost to open Thursday 10 August

Zeus is bringing its brand of Greek street food to the heart of Brisbane’s CBD opening Zeus QueensPlaza on Thursday 10 August.

The opening of Zeus QueensPlaza, which comes off the back of the successful Zeus Westfield Chermside launch last month, will add a modern and fresh Mediterranean offering to the bustling QueensPlaza dining precinct.

Zeus QueensPlaza, an Express Concept Store, will be the perfect spot for a lunch time pita stop, pre late night shopping snack or a weekend feast with the family; combining modern Greek street food with the best of Australian produce. Despite the smaller format store and concise menu offering, punters can expect to be served up the same awesome Greek street food they’ve come to know and love from Zeus.

The menu offering includes: The Uncle Tzimmy family of three pitas, featuring high-quality hero proteins of chicken, pork and lamb from the souvla cooked traditionally on long skewers over hot charcoal; wrapped in fluffy pita bread with tomato, tzatziki, onion, paprika and Zeus’ famous chips. Uncle Tzimmy will be joined by the full range of Zeus pitas along with the recently launched 100% customisable, ‘Build Your Own Spartan Box’. Zeus goers can get cook up their Spartan Box of choice in four easy steps, picking; a protein, base, salad and dip to create up to 320 combinations in four easy steps. For vegetarians and ‘5 A Day’ aficionados there is a falafel and haloumi option for the protein as well as plenty of vegetable and salad options along the way.

“We’re really excited to be opening our third Brisbane location at QueensPlaza. This precinct is in the heart of the city and we can’t wait to share what we do with more of Brisbane, said co-founder Costa Anastasiadis.

The store design reflects Zeus’ ‘old meets new’ philosophy, combining the authenticity of an open Greek kitchen and a contemporary fit out. The space comes to life via clean lines, vibrant colour via Zeus’ hero signage positioned alongside a bespoke wooden etched façade.

As part of Zeus’ commitment to doing good, and in keeping with true Greek hospitality, the new QueensPlaza store will host an I LOVE FREE SOUVLA Community Lunch on Friday 11 August, where free pitas will be served from 12-2pm with $2 from each donated to local charity partner Multicultural Development Australia (MDA).

MDA, situated in Brisbane, works with refugees, international students, people seeking asylum, migrants and their local communities. MDA are committed to delivering a welcoming Queensland where all new arrivals have the opportunity to fully contribute to and participate in a multicultural society.
