Despite our logo, Zeus Street Greek didn’t start with a thunderbolt of inspiration, in fact our story is far more mortal than mythical. It began with three Aussie-born, Greek-bred mates who knew just how good Greek food could be. But when it came to the Greek food scene here, the choice was either fancy-pants restaurants where YiaYia’s recipes got a makeover, or the dodgy kebab joints that doubled as hangover haunts.
Their craving for Greek freshness and authentic flavour was the inspiration behind Zeus Street Greek. A place where homegrown wholesomeness and Hellenic deliciousness come together to form a celebration of everything we love about Greek food, served up for today’s plates and palates. Fresh, relaxed, delicious… It’s enough to make anyone say, OMZ.
