Zeus city limits – Zeus Australia Square to open 19 April!

Australia Square marks the 12th store opening for Zeus Street Greek, and the second foray in the CBD of Sydney, the first at Westfield Sydney. The outpost will be located at Shop 404 in the burgeoning Australia Square dining precinct catering to the corporate lunch crowd of the area.

Zeus Australia Square will offer a compact menu but will still serve up all the classic pitas, including The Uncle Tzimmy family of three featuring succulent meat (chicken, pork or lamb) from the souvla cooked traditionally on long skewers over hot charcoal; wrapped in fluffy pita bread with tomato, tzatziki, onion, paprika and Zeus’ famous chips. Uncle Tzimmy will be joined by all of the pitas from Zeus’ recently launched menu along with Spartan Boxes, the perfect al-desko lunch packs, plus a compact selection of sides, salads and ice cream sandwiches.

The store design pays tribute to the authenticity of the Greek kitchen within a bespoke street consumer experience. Clean lines, a subtle pop of colour via Zeus’ signature signage and an old meets new blend of silver corrugated and perforated metal, positioned side by side a bespoke wooden etched façade bring the space to life.

Co-founder of Zeus, Costa Anastasiadis, says, “after the success of our first express concept store in Westfield Sydney, we jumped at the chance of setting up shop at Australia Square.”

“Australia Square is an iconic Sydney CBD landmark and we’re looking forward to introducing our brand of Greek street food to the working community around the precinct.”
