Zeus is headlining at the Surry Hills Festival.
On Saturday 23 September, you’ll find Zeus Street Greek Surry Hills at the Surry Hills Festival for the ultimate celebration of community.
This spring festival is designed to celebrate everything there is to love about Surry Hills, from food and music to art and design. The party will span across Ward Park, Devonshire Street, Shannon Reserve, Crown Street, lane ways and pop up spaces.
Zeus Surry Hills will be serving up three hero pitas and one classic menu item to feed the hungry festival-goers. The Zeus Lamb, Papou Niko Chicken and Stavros Stavrou Pitas along with Spanakopita aka homemade flaky spinach and cheese pie will be on offer, showcasing the best of Australian produce and Mediterranean flavours.
We’re rapt to be a part of this awesome community event that is now in its 15th year.
Besides the food, enjoy all-day live music by phenomenal acts, like Sydney’s own Thandi Phoenix, alongside local hip hop duo Coda Conduct, folk artist Joe Mungovan and more.
This year, the festival is also introducing a brand new program called Double Take. Running from 23 September to 15 October, Double Take is an exploration of the area’s creative scenes, and includes free events, guided tours and workshops.
All funds raised at the festival will go to community programs run by the Surry Hills Neighbourhood Centre. Come down and join the fun, and don’t forget to grab a Pita or Spanakopita to get you through the day.
